The Office of Evaluation of the United Nations Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO) is launching an evaluation of the  FAO's Country Programme in Somalia.

The Office of Evaluation is currently seeking five subject-matter experts to join the evaluation team as team members. Evaluation consultants with demonstrable experience in conducting strategic evaluations in a humanitarian context  as well as have a background in at least one of the following areas of work , are encouraged to apply:  

• Development of sustainable value chain in agriculture, livestock and  fisheries; 
• Agricultural policies, advisory services and capacity development;
• Information Management systems for food security, land and water;
• Early warning, disaster risk reduction and resilience building;
• Emergency response, cash and voucher programming;
• Social protection, gender and social inclusion approaches; 
• Conflict sensitivity and peacebuilding; and
• Natural resource management.
