This report provides an overview of the UNICEF evaluation function in 2018. It provides an update on the implementation of the revised evaluation policy of UNICEF (E/ICEF/2018/14) and the plan for global evaluations, 2018–2021 (E/ICEF/2018/3). In addition, the report presents a detailed analysis of the performance of the evaluation function at all levels of the organization, especially the regional and country levels, and contains a summary of the key findings of several corporate evaluations.
