UN-DESA Evaluation Policy (2012)

Overview

The policy is based on Secretary-General's Bulletin ST.SGB.2000/8, the UNEG Norms and Standards, and OIOS guidance on evaluation and development of evaluation policies. It seeks to strenghten the institutional framework for the conduct of evaluation activities by the Department of Economic and Social Affiairs (DESA), to establish a common understanding and approach to the function, and to promote consistency in practice.
