UNEP Evaluation Policy (2009)

Overview

This document presents the United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP) Evaluation policy and the strategy for its implementation. It explains the objectives, roles and functions of evaluation within UNEP, defines the institutional framework within which it operates and outlines the general processes by which it is operationalized. This evaluation policy is consistent with the United Nations System Norms and Standards for Evaluation approved by the United Nations Evaluation Group (UNEG).
