Bio

Colin Kirk is the UNEG Vice Chair for Partnerships and Director of Evaluation at UNICEF, leading the team in UNICEF's Evaluation Office and providing leadership for the evaluation function across the organization. He has nearly 30 years' experience in international development in the fields of evaluation and corporate performance management, in programme planning and monitoring and in social analysis. He has served at various times as head of evaluation in DFID and director of evaluation at the African Development Bank before taking up his present position.

Colin graduated in Social Anthropology from the University of Cambridge and, on the basis of field research conducted in Sri Lanka, was subsequently awarded an MPhil in Sociology from the University of Colombo and a DPhil in Social Anthropology from the University of Sussex. He is a British national.
